About the Authors
Paulette Huber and Jennifer Orr are longtime friends, technology leaders, and co-authors of their debut book, Fine, I’ll Do It Myself. Their collaboration grew from years of trust and shared experience, and from their decision that this was a story they wanted to tell together. They bring not just one life story, but a story they hope will speak to anyone who’s ever felt invisible or underestimated.
Paulette Huber is an entrepreneur, executive, and speaker. The daughter of a Vietnamese mother and Black American father, she was born during wartime in Saigon and brought to the United States as a young child. She grew up in California before moving to the Midwest, where she built a successful career in the technology industry, and established herself as a respected business leader.
Now based in Florida, Paulette is the proud mother of a son in college. She continues her lifelong passion for working with rescue dogs, having cared for two over the years, and today she enjoys time with her dog, Mortie.
Jennifer Orr is a business owner, technology industry executive, and mentor. Raised Asian American in California, she is known as an empowering leader, guided by integrity and empathy, and recognized for driving results while investing in the success of her team. She believes her greatest measure of achievement is seeing those around her thrive.
Jennifer lives in the Seattle area with her husband and rescue cat, Kona, and is a proud mother to her grown son. She finds joy in music, being near the water, and cooking for the people she loves.
